Alice M. (Bernard) Perrault-LaValley, 83 of Salem, NH passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017 in the Warde Health Center, Windham, NH. She was born in Boston, MA, a daughter of the late Lorne C. and Laurida M. (Cardin) Bernard.
Prior to her retirement she was employed by the Town of Salem, NH Public Works Dept. as an administrative assistant for many years. She also worked as a day care provider and administrative assistant in Watertown, MA and Andover, MA after her children had grown. Her greatest pride was her family and her many dear friends she was privileged to have enrich her life.
She is survived by her children; Leonard M. Perrault and his wife Ruth of Southampton, MA, Michele M. Perrault of Greenfield, MA, Mark S. Perrault of Manchester, NH, Laurene A. Doucet of Vermont, Denise L. Ford of Manchester and Timothy J. Perrault of Nashua, NH. She is also survived by her step-children; Karen and Stephen Leonard, Brenda LaValley and Rosemarie Owen, all of Derry, NH and Robert L. and Pauline LaValley of Bradford, MA, a brother; Joseph L. Bernard of North Andover, MA, 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, her former son-in-law; Gerry Doucet of Bedford, NH, four nephews, two nieces and two grandnieces. She was predeceased by her husbands; Stanley F. Perrault and Robert E. LaValley, her son; Dennis Lorne Perrault, grandson; Matthew S. Perrault and by her sister; Laurida Anne McKeeman.
Visiting hours will be held Monday, December 11, 2017 in the Warde Health Center, 21 Searles Road, Windham, NH from 10:00am to 11:00am with a funeral service to follow Monday at 11:00am in the Sisters of Mercy Chapel in the Health Center. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery on Wednesday at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 114 Perimeter Rd., Units G&H, Nashua, NH 03063.
