Alice V. Hill, 97, of Salem, NH passed away Wednesday, June 7 ^th at Pleasant Valley Nursing Home in Derry, NH.

She was educated in South Boston, MA and graduated from Cardinal Cushing High School. Alice was the daughter of the late Bridget (Conley) and John Whittemore. Prior to getting married, she worked as a seamstress. She was a devoted mother and enjoyed sewing.

Alice is survived by her children, Allen Hill and wife Karen of Salem, Doris Blaney and husband George of Pittsburg, NH, Lois McGurn and husband Joseph of Tyngsboro, MA, Edward Hill of Salem and Linda Hill of Derry; her sisters, Helen Galinauskas of Weymouth, MA and Kay Regan of Mansfield, MA; 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Hill and her son, Charles Hill.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson.

Memorial contributions in Alice's name may be sent to the hospice agency of your choice.
