Andrée D. Pinet-Lacroix, 69, of Salem NH passed away on Friday, February 26 ^th at her home after a courageous battle with COPD and cancer.

Andrée was born in Lots-Renversés, Saint-Juste-du-Lac, Quebec, Canada the daughter of the late Simone (Michaud) and Blondin Pinet. Her family moved to the states in 1965. She worked at Malden Mills in Lawrence MA for many years until her retirement in 2014. She was a member of their Unite Union. Andrée met the love of her life David Lacroix at Malden Mills and they were married in 2004.

Andrée loved to cook to her mother Simone's Canadian recipes. Amongst other things she enjoyed daily crossword puzzles, Wheel of Fortune and driving her car. A dedicated homemaker and a devoted wife Andrée especially loved her time spent with her husband, family and friends. Andrée will likely be remembered for her bright smile, sense of humor and down to earth personality.

Andrée will be sadly missed by her beloved husband, David Lacroix of Salem NH; her siblings, Dennis Pinet of Salem NH, John Pinet of Haverhill MA, Doris Reardon of Methuen MA, Denise Marquis of North Andover MA and Marie Doherty of Atkinson NH along with many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brothers Giles, Gaston and Ronnie.

Following cremation, visitation will be on Wednesday, March 3 ^rd from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem NH.
