Obituary

Anne C. (Wetmore) Todd, 89, of Salem, NH and Gilford, NH passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. Born in Methuen, MA, the daughter of the late David and Hilda (Case) Wetmore, and wife to predeceased Raymond W. Todd.

Mrs. Todd grew up in Methuen, MA and graduated from Edward F. Searles High School in Methuen and later from the McIntosh Business School, also in Methuen. Having worked many places as a secretary over the years, including Western Electric in North Andover, it was her secretarial position at Honeywell from which she retired. A member of New Hope Church in Methuen, formerly St. Georges EPM Church, Anne was very active in her Philathea class as well as the Rainbow Seniors. She and her husband Ray were president of their square dancing club, Slips and Clutches. With five kids, Anne was always baking and sewing something, which she very much enjoyed. Above all, her favorite place to be was at her cottage at Lake Shore Park, on Lake Winnipesaukee in Gilford. She absolutely loved sitting on the porch visiting with everyone who came by, and waiting with treats for the visiting dogs in the Park.

She is survived by her son; David Todd and his wife Robyn of Londonderry, NH, her four daughters; Debra Julian and her husband Bernie of Hudson, NH, Denise Carpentiere and her husband Barry of Laconia, NH and Davenport, FL, Diana Todd of Boulder, Colorado and Donna LeBlanc of Manchester, NH. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years; Raymond W. Todd in 2010 and by her four brothers; Robert, Gordon, Colby and David Wetmore.
