Annette M. (Ragazzo) Cooke, 76, of Salem, NH passed away on Wednesday, December 14th at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Annette was born and raised in Trenton, NJ. She graduated from Hamilton East Steinert High School and Rider University. She was the daughter of the late Grace (Criscio) and Michael Ragazzo. She worked as a grant writer for the Derry Boys and Girls Club.

She was a member and Eucharistic minister at St. Joseph's Church. She organized the church fair and she was a song leader. Annette was devoted to her community and she was a dedicated and active volunteer. She served as a State Representative, a member of the Salem School Board, a Kelley Library Trustee, she was on the Board of Directors for the Salem Boys and Girls Club, a member of the Salem Charter Commission, a member of the Salem Lions Club and a member of the Salem Area Women's Club GFWC. She was a State volunteer under Gov. Gregg and she was awarded Volunteer of the Year. She received the Ganley Award and the Lions Club awarded her Melvin Jones Award. Annette loved to play the piano and sing and she enjoyed bowling.

Annette will be deeply missed by her beloved husband, Paul Cooke of Salem, NH: her children, Michele Cooke-Kayo and husband Gerald of Salem, NH and Paul Cooke Jr. and wife Audra; her 3 grandchildren, Geoffrey, Gillian and Tyler Kayo and her many friends.

There is no visitation. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Dec. 20th at 12:00 noon at St. Joseph Church, 40 Main St. Salem, NH. Please arrive by 11:45 AM.  Memorial contributions in Annette's name may be sent to the Lions Camp Pride, PO Box 135, E. Hampstead, NH 03826.
