Ardia A. (Kisling) Mathews, 91 of Salem, NH passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Salemhaven surrounded by her loving family.

She was born and educated in E. Orange, NJ, the daughter of the late Marguerite (Dipper) and Alfred Kisling. Ardia worked as an executive secretary for Colonial Life Insurance later working as the office manager for Salem Graphic Enterprises and John P. Mathews & Associates. She enjoyed spending time with her family, bird watching, reading and crossword puzzles. Ardia was an active member and Past President of the Merrimack Valley Chapter of Beta, Sigma, Phi. Ardia had a great sense of humor. When asked how long she'd been married, her response was often, " We've been happily married for 7 years, not bad out of 68."

The wonderful care and attention given to Ardia at Salemhaven was outstanding and the family is extremely grateful.

Ardia is survived by her beloved husband, John Mathews, Jr. of Salem, NH; her 3 children, John "Jack" Mathews, III and wife Laurie of Derry, NH, Lisa Massahos and husband Chuck of Salem, NH and Leslie Mathews and partner Gary Mosher of Salem, NH; her 5 grandchildren, Adam Mathews, Ryan Mathews, Kaitlin Mathews, Mathew Massahos and wife Alyssa and Nicholas Massahos and wife Stephenie and her 2 great granddaughters, Everly and Isla Massahos.
