Armand H. Garabedian, 83, a lifelong resident of Salem, NH passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 21 ^st .

He was the son of the late Agnes (Atamian) and Harry Garabedian. He graduated from Woodbury High School. He served his country for 9 years as a member of the Army National Guard. Armand had a long career in the electrical supply industry. He had many long time customers who valued his knowledge and experience.

Armand's true passion was farming and he had his own farm for many years. He grew many vegetables for market and at times raised chickens. He loved all aspects of the farm and had a large collection of model tractors. Armand enjoyed the ocean and trips to Florida in the winter. He was an active member of the Ararat Armenian Congregational Church in Salem and served many years as a Trustee of the church.

He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Ecaterina (Nicitina) Garabedian of Salem, NH; his three brothers, Richard and wife Kilby of Westwood, MA, Harry and his wife Nancy of Nokomis, FL and Michael and his wife Claire of Salem, NH; his three children, Robin, Susan, and Mark; his many grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 27 ^th from 4:00 – 7:00PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St. Salem, NH.  The Funeral Service will Tuesday, March 28 ^th at 11:00 AM at the Ararat Armenian Congregational Church, 2 Salem St., Salem, NH 03079. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.  Donations in Armand's name may be sent to the Ararat Armenian Congregational Church in Salem.
