Arthur DePietro, 76, of Salem, NH passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 31 2025 at his home.

Artie grew up in Everett, MA the son of the late Edna and William D ePietro. He graduated from Everett Vocational High School. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force.

Artie was the dedicated owner of his successful family refinishing business. Outside of work, Artie found joy on the water, with a deep love for boating and fishing – activities that brought him peace and adventure. Known for his infectious sense of humor, he was extremely funny, always ready with a joke or story to light up any room and bring laughter to those around him.

He is survived by his beloved wife Elaine with whom he shared 56 wonderful years of marriage; his three devoted sons, Anthony DePietro and wife Amy of Danvers, MA, Michael DePietro and wife Kelly of Gilmanton, NH and Joseph DePietro and wife Brooke of Haverhill, MA; his 4 cherished grandchildren and two great grandchildren who will carry forward his legacy of love and laughter and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, William DePietro and Steven DePietro

Artie's warmth, wit and kindness will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 8 th from 10:00 am -12:00 pm followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St. Salem, NH.
