Arthur J. Kent, 68, of Salem, NH passed away unexpectedly on Sunday Jan. 1, 2023 at his home.

Artie grew up and was educated in Wellesley, MA. He was the son of the late Sarah (Campbell) and Richard Kent. He worked in maintenance and security for the Salem Flea Market. He enjoyed his job and took pride in his work ethic. Artie loved his family and any time he could spend with them.  He loved animals, especially horses. He worked for many years on the thoroughbred racing circuit and even got to work with a Kentucky Derby winner.  He was very kindhearted and was always ready to help someone who needed it.

Artie is survived by his 11 siblings, Marjorie Dean, Nancy Gallant, Irene Caracci, Jacqueline Roche, Jean Santillo, Gail Kneeland, Sally Liberatore, Susan Kent, Dollie Unger, Daniel Kent, and William Kent.

He was predeceased by his siblings, Dorothy Robinson, Richard Kent and Robert Kent.
