Arthur X. Proulx, 77, of Salem, NH died Monday, September 4 ^th at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.

Arthur was born and educated in Salem, NH and graduated from Woodbury High School. He served his country in the US Navy. Arthur retired from Turner's Dairy where he was a machine operator. In his younger years, he enjoyed roller skating and driving his motorcycle. Arthur volunteered for the Greater Salem Caregivers.

He was predeceased by his wife, Virginia Proulx; his son, Richard Proulx, his siblings, Roland Proulx and Beatrice Newton Danahy and his nephew, Michael Danahy.

Arthur is survived by his daughter, Barbara Cox of Derry, NH; his grandchildren, Ashley, Michael and Steven Cox; his sister, Pauline Proulx and his nephews, Robert and Gary Danahy.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 16 ^th from 1:30 -2:30 PM followed by a funeral service at     2:30 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
