Audrey J. (Kane) Langtange, 88 of Londonderry, NH passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023 in the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH.  She was born in Lawrence, MA, the daughter of the late Thomas Kane.

Audrey graduated from Lawrence High School, Class of 1952.  She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary #8546 and the AARP.  She loved dancing and traveling with her husband.  For over 25 years she enjoyed working on the Picture Puzzle in the Eagle Tribune every week.  During the Gulf War, for two years Audrey wrote every week to 38 different service people.  She met many, went to parties with them, the rest called her and thanked her for writing to them.  She was also pen pals with General Colin Powell, General Norman Schwarzkopf and General Richard Neal and proudly kept the letters they wrote back.  Audrey also volunteered for seven years at the Andover, MA library.

She is survived by her sons; David Poole and wife Tisha of Valencia, CA and Dwayne Poole of Ohio, her daughters; Debra Hillard of Salem, NH, Donna Anderson and husband Mark of Sandown, NH and Diane McMurtry of Methuen, MA and by her brothers; Brian Kane and wife Linda of Methuen and Robert Kane of Florida.  She is also survived by several grandchildren, including Chris Poole and wife Erin, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by her husbands; Thomas B. Poole and Frederick R. Langtange.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, September 29, 2023 from 10:00am to 12:00pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.  A funeral service will follow at 12:00pm Friday in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery, 5 Spring Grove Road, Andover, MA.
