Barbara Joan (Cullen) Jacques, 92, of Salem, NH, passed away peacefully at the Colonial Poplin Nursing Home in Fremont, NH.

Born in Waltham and raised in Lincoln, MA, Barbara's warm spirit and zest for life touched all who knew her. A proud graduate of Newton-Wellesley Hospital's nursing program in Newton, Barbara dedicated many years of her life caring for her family, her patients and bringing joy to her community. She was a beloved and active member of the Ingram Senior Center for years, where her talents and enthusiasm shone brightly.

Barbara had a passion for entertaining — whether she was singing in the chorus at the Senior Center, dazzling friends with her tap dancing routines, or teaching others the art of dance as an instructor at the Senior Center for many years. Her love for performing even led her to clown school, where she learned to bring laughter and smiles to audiences young and old. Above all, Barbara was a devoted wife and loving mother whose warmth and kindness will be deeply missed. She will be remembered for her beautiful voice, quick step, and the countless lives she uplifted with her talent and humor.

Barbara is survived by her children, Frank Jacques of Copperas Cove, TX, Cheryl Bolouk and husband Reza of Salem, NH, and Patricia Shea of Turnersville, NJ; her brother Robert Cullen of Mesa, AZ; her grandchildren Kirsten Gallagher and husband Ryan, Brianna Puglisi and husband Anthony, Ciara Gerber and husband Hank, Amaris Jacques and her great granddaughter, Vivian Gerber.

She was predeceased by her parents Edith and Stanley Cullen Sr., husband Frank L. Jacques, Jr, daughter Michelle Lynn Jacques, her grandson Daniel Shea, her son-in-law, Kevin Shea, her Sisters Alisca Czarnowski and Virginia Winslow, and her Brother: Stanley Cullen, Jr.
