Barbara L. Warburton, 75, of Salem, NH passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 15 ^th at Salemhaven Nursing Home.

Born in Methuen, MA she was the daughter of the late Eleanor (Michaud) and James Warburton. Babs was a group counselor at Harbor Homes, and prior to that a hairdresser of her own shop. She enjoyed playing bingo, playing the guitar, arts and crafts and going to Foxwoods.  She loved antiquing and summering in Wells, ME. She was a kind and giving person and was loved by everyone she had contact with. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews and she loved to spoil them.

Babs is survived by her sister, Paula Bagshaw and husband John of Salem, NH; her nephew, Brian Bagshaw and wife Karen of Salem, NH; her niece, Sherri Keleher and husband Kevin; her great nieces and nephews, Matthew, Christopher and wife Paige, Colleen and Kyle and her great great nephew and niece, John Kern and Hadley Ann as well and many close cousins and dear friends.

The family would like to commend the staff at Salemhaven for their compassionate love and care that they provided to Babs during her residence there.

There are no public services. Arrangements are under the direction of Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH 03079. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory can be sent to Salemhaven Resident Council Fund for arts and crafts, 23 Geremonty Dr., Salem, NH 03079.
