Barbara F. McCarthy, 85, of Lawrence, MA passed away on Friday, February 10 ^th at Mary Immaculate Nursing Home.

She was born and educated in Boston, MA the daughter of the late Helen (Carlson) and Joseph McCarthy. She was the credit manager for Paine Furniture for many years. Barbara finished her career as a home health care worker. Barbara enjoyed her many trips to Foxwoods, family gatherings, eating chicken parm and word search puzzles.

Barbara is survived by her nieces, Denise Davis and Debbie Samataro and their families, many nieces and nephews and her many friends at Mary Immaculate.

She was predeceased by her long time best friend and companion, Evelyn McInerny and her siblings Richard McCarthy, Joan Isleb, Helen Rheault and Dotty Pauck.

Visitation will be from 3:00 – 4:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, Feb.15 ^th at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
