Barbara C. Rudolph, 85, of Salem, NH and formerly of Gloucester, MA passed away on July 3, 2024 at Salemhaven Nursing Home in Salem, NH surrounded by her loving family.

Barbara was born to the late Sewall Butters Sr. and Iva Butters. She grew up in Fryeburg, ME where she attended Fryeburg Academy. In her late teens, Barbara moved to Gloucester, MA where she met and later married her late husband James "Harvey" Rudolph on July 4, 1957. Barbara was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed cooking delicious meals for her family, taking the family on scenic rides along the coast and often stopping to visit family along the way which made it extra special. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing and coloring. Her pictures were so beautiful, she really had an eye for colors and her own blending technique.

Barbara is survived by her daughter Margaret Seale of Haverhill, MA, her longtime companion Chip Hart of Danvers, MA, her son James H. Rudolph Jr. of Salem, NH, her sisters Marie Eastman of Gloucester MA and Miriam Eastman of Lovell, ME, her brother Robert Butters of Lovell, ME, her Grandsons Nathan Seale and wife Phary and Aaron Seale, her Great Grandchildren Emma and Lincoln and many Nieces and Nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband James "Harvey" Rudolph, her father Sewall Butters Sr., her mother Iva Butters, her brothers Bertram Butters, Walter Butters, Sewall Butters Jr., Lawrence Butters, her sisters Nina Butters, Althea Martin, Marguerite Rice and Helen Johnson.

Services will be private for her family and arrangements are under the care of Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home in Salem, NH.
