Obituary

Carol A. d'Entremont, 87, of Hampstead, NH, formerly of Roslindale, MA passed away on Monday, October 05, 2020 in the Mt. Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Manchester, NH.  She was born in East Boston, MA, a daughter of the late Paul and CeCelia DeCristoforo, and sister of Joan Popeo.

Before she married, Carol worked as a clerk in the East Boston Court House in Maverick Square.  She was also a lunch Mom for the Boston Public Schools in the 1960s and early 1970s. Up until her retirement Carol had worked as an insurance claim form clerk and patient screener at the pediatrician's office of Roslindale Pediatrics.  Carol and her husband Robert were active members of Holy Name Parish in West Roxbury, MA: among their many activities, the two worked side by side in the parish's pre-Cana program until just before they moved up to NH.  They served as faithful and popular adult advisors in the Holy Name CYO throughout the 1970s.  Carol and Robert also were active volunteers for the Saint Anne's Parish food pantry in Hampstead, NH.

Carol is survived by her son Robert Paul d'Entremont and his wife Paula Marie of Derry NH, her daughter Lisa Ann Simpson and her husband Donald L. of Belmont, NH, and her daughter Lori Jean d'Entremont of Woburn, MA; her sister Joan and her husband V. James Popeo of Peabody, MA; by her three grandchildren Melissa Ann Clougherty and her husband Matthew, Michelle Marie Zitta and her husband Joshua, and Raymond P. d'Entremont; and by two great grandchildren, Jack and Cecelia Clougherty.  Carol will also be dearly missed by nieces, nephews and cousins in her large, extended family.

Because of COVID restrictions, services will be private.
