Carol F. Keronski, 73, of Salem, NH passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017 in the Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA. She was born in Methuen, a daughter of the late Joseph T. and Helen C. (Trzcinski) Keronski.

Carol graduated from McIntosh Business College in Lawrence, MA. She went to work as a secretary for the Lawrence General Hospital School of Nursing and also as a receptionist for Wolverine Corporation in Merrimac, MA. Carol then became a care giver to her aunts and uncles and her parents. She did whatever needed to be done, compassionately, and with a sweet sense of humor. She also enjoyed touring the country, hosting wonderful group gatherings, and was the family Scrabble champion. She was funny, loved her pets, and enjoyed shopping. She was a Communicant of Mary Queen of Peace Church. Carol truly embodied the Bible passage "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth," as she was a quiet, gentle, loving and nurturing soul.

She is survived by her loving sister; Mary H. Keronski of Salem, her dog; Winter and by several cousins, second cousins, and friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 9:30am to 10:30am in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Thursday in Mary Queen of Peace Church, 200 Lawrence Rd., Salem. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Red Cross, P.O. Box 37839, Boone, IA 50037 to help with Hurricane Harvey relief, to Sweet Paws Rescue, PO Box 752, Essex MA 01929, or to Saints Mary & Joseph Parish, 200 Lawrence Rd., Salem, NH 03079.
