Charles "Charlie" Thomas Amaro, 59, of Salem, NH, beloved father and PopPop passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at his home following a period of failing health.  He was born in Staten Island, NY, a son of Antonio and Frances (Surace) Amaro.

Charlie will be missed by his wife of 34 years; Diane (Ellison) Amaro, by his two daughters; Kayla and Julia and by his grandson; A.J. Watrous.  He is also survived by his parents; Antonio and Frances Amaro and by his sister; Gena Dinicola.

Charlie worked many aspects of the National Elevator Industry for over 20 years and was a proud member of the Local #4 Union.  In his spare time he loved camping with his circle of friends and playing computer games with his online friends.

A memorial service for Charlie will be held at a later date.
