Ching Wen Kwong, 100, of Salem, NH passed away peacefully on Monday, August 26 ^th , surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Taishan, Guangdong, China. She lived in Hong Kong for over 20 years before she immigrated to the United States in 1978. She worked briefly in Pandora, a garment factory in

Pelham, NH. She retired to become a homemaker, enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Ching lived her final years at Salemhaven Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Salem NH. Her family is very grateful and thankful to all the nurses, aides, and staffs in the nursing home who took exceptional care of her during those years.

She will be sadly missed by her sons, Jimmy Kwong and wife So Kwong of San Francisco, CA,formerly from North Andover, MA; and John Kwong and wife Wing-Hun Kwong of Salem, NH; her daughter-in-law, Kam Kwong of Pelham, NH; 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Sau Fong Kwong and son, Charn-yin.

Visitation will be on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.  Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem.
