Dr. Christopher S. Jones, 42, a resident of Lawrence, MA and formerly of Lake Tahoe and Santa Monica, CA passed away suddenly after a fatal heart attack on August 5, 2022 at his office.

Christopher grew up in Lawrence MA and Oklahoma.  In Lawrence he attended St. Patrick's, then graduated from Putnam City West in Oklahoma. He graduated with his Bachelor's Degree then later with his Master's Degree from Emperors College. He was a Dr. of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. He was excited to open his new practice in Salem, NH. Christopher also worked at Camp Evergreen in North Andover, MA.

He was an avid snowboarder and he loved Lake Tahoe. He was a yearly participant in the Burning Man Festival. Christopher was an artist and enjoyed painting art cars. He liked camping and kayaking.

He will be deeply missed by his parents, Barbara (McGinness) and Clark Jones of Lawrence, MA; his brother in law, aunts, uncles, many cousins, and his loving friends, Sarah Loscutoff, Tim Kowalewski, Jen Ryan, Barbie Dee, Ryan Mcalary, Andrea Phillips, and so many more great friends that were part of his chosen family.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Anita (Sullivan) and Francis McGinness and his sister, Julie (Jones) Grider.

Visitation will be Friday, August 12th from 3:00 – 5:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 5:00PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to assist with funeral expenses can be made to Douglas and Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St Salem, H 03079.
