Daniel J. Dellanno, Jr., 41, a longtime resident of Methuen, MA passed away unexpectedly on Saturday May 18, 2019 in Salem, NH. He was born in Winchester, MA, a son of Daniel J. Dellanno, Sr. and Jane L. (Enos) Dellanno.

Daniel was a free spirited individual who blazed his own trail. He will be remembered by many for his intoxicating laugh, great smile and larger than life personality. He loved his kids and all kids as he was a child at heart himself. Daniel had a strong and warm embrace.

He is survived by his children; Cristian V. Dellanno and Lauren C. Dellanno of Methuen, his father, Daniel J. Dellanno, Sr. and his wife Michelle of Methuen, his mother; Jane L. (Enos) Dellanno of Methuen as well as his former spouse; Lori A. Waring of Methuen. He is also survived by his two sisters; Denise M. Cassen of Methuen and Diana L. Harrington of Methuen, two step-sisters; Jacqueline Dellanno of Boston, MA and Tanya Dellanno of Lowell, MA, a niece; Jessica Harrington and two nephews; Michael Codi Cassen and Joseph Harrington, Jr., all of Methuen.

Visiting hours will be held Friday May 24, 2019 from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem. A memorial service will follow Friday at 1:00pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to The American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
