Beloved husband, father, and son, David Joseph Evans of Salem, NH, went home to be with his Savior on January 14, 2022. David was born to Joseph (predeceased) and Gertrude (Carr) Evans on June 13, 1949, in Medford, Massachusetts. Dave, a software engineer with Wang and most recently, Graphx, was blessed with a logical mind and enjoyed his career writing code, testing software programs, and solving computer bugs. He was the go-to computer guru for his girls. When he was not engrossed in his computer work, Dave was an avid Boston sports fan and news junkie. As a history buff, he loved to spend time travelling with his family to historical sites where, leaving no sign unread, he learned all he could about their history. Dave was also a man who loved God and was involved with serving at his local church, Fellowship Bible Church, particularly in the missions' ministry. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Dave is survived by his wife, Regina (Jones) Evans, of 48 years and his three daughters: Stacy Evans of Woburn, MA; Kristina Evans of Medford, MA; Heather Evans of Gilbert, AZ, as well as his mother, Gertrude (Carr) Evans of Medford, MA; his sister Kathleen (Evans) and her husband Richard Madej of Glastonbury, CT; and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 21 ^st at 11:00am in the Fellowship Bible Church, 1 Fellowship Way, Methuen, MA.  Please arrive to the church Friday by 10:45am.  Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
