Derek H. Archibald, 25, of Hampstead, NH passed away, Wednesday, August 29 ^th after losing his battle with addiction.

He grew up in Hampstead and graduated from Pinkerton Academy. He enjoyed fixing up cars, fishing, and spending time with his friends. He had a caring and compassionate heart and loved animals.

Derek will be sadly missed by his mother, Jeanne Archibald of Hampstead; his sister, Amanda Archibald of Hampstead; his grandmothers, Joan Emmert of Hampstead and Mildred Archibald of Haverhill, MA; his Aunt Janice Hoehn of Hampstead, his Uncle Jay Emmert of Hillsboro, NH and several extended family and friends.

He was predeceased by his father, George Archibald and his grandfathers, Julius Emmert and George H. Archibald.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 4 ^th from 4:00PM – 8:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, September 5 ^th at 10:00 AM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home followed by burial in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen, MA.
