Diana (Soule) Seifert, 74, of Salem, NH passed away on May 1 st due to complications from cancer. She was a lifelong resident of Salem, NH, a graduate of Woodbury High School (1964), Colby College (1968), and Lesley University, where she earned a master's degree in Special Education.
She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, teacher, and member of the Salem community.
She was an active member of St. David's Episcopal Church, as well as the Episcopal Diocese of New Hampshire Southern Convocation, the New Hampshire Democratic Party, the Greater Salem Caregivers, and the New Hampshire Retired Educators Association. She previously held local elected office as a member of the Salem Zoning Board and the Salem Budget Committee. She enjoyed volunteering, golfing, and spending time with friends and family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles A. Seifert, II and her parents, Virginia and Lewis Soule of Salem.
She is survived by her four children, Gretchen Seifert and Karen Parker of Stamford, CT, Megan Seifert and Ambrose Tuscano of Soda Springs, CA, Erica Seifert and Nathan Olson of Chevy Chase, MD, and Charles W. Seifert II of Salem NH; her three grandchildren, Griffin Tuscano, Mari Tuscano, and Charlie Wolf Olson; her three sisters, Debbie Espinola, Jo Ellen Soule, and Beth Soule, a brother Lewis Soule, several nieces and nephews, and wonderful friends.
Visitation will be outside at St. David's Episcopal Church in Salem, NH on Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 9:00-10:00 AM followed by an outdoor memorial service at 10:00 AM. Masks are required and those attending the service should arrive Saturday by 9:45 AM.
