Diane M. (Fraser) Ortiz, 62, of Salem, NH died unexpectedly, Sunday, March 24 ^th at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.

Diane grew up in Andover, MA and graduated from Andover High School. She received her nursing degree from Tewksbury Hospital School of Nursing. Diane worked at various nursing homes over her career. She was a member of St. Augustine's Parish in Andover, MA. Diane was devoted to her family. She was a wonderful wife and mother and enjoyed taking care of and spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid reader and an avid Patriots fan and she enjoyed watching football games with her family.

Diane will be sadly missed by her beloved husband of 45 years, Efrain Ortiz of Salem, NH; her parents, Donald and Beryl Fraser of Andover, MA; her 5 children, Amy Velez and husband Alexandro of Dracut, MA, Jennifer Armano and husband Thomas of Methuen, MA, Jonathan Ortiz and wife Robyn of Salem, NH, Nathaniel Ortiz and Maria Metrakas of Chelmsford, MA and Gregory Ortiz and his fiance, Adriana Lonardo of Salem, NH; her 12 grandchildren, Mario, Mark, Marlon, Gabriel, Solomon, Gianna, Thomas, Natalie, Jonathan, Jordan, Kobe and Isabelle; her 5 siblings, Gary Fraser and wife Sheila of Haverhill, MA, Donna Fraser of Andover, MA, Marlene Couture and husband Mark of Andover, MA, Scott Fraser of Andover, MA and Donald Fraser Jr. and wife Trish of Harrisburg, OR and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her grandson, Messiah Portela.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 28 ^th from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM followed by a service at 7:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. Cremation will follow.
