Donald Barnes, 74, of Salem, NH, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2024. Born on June 8,1950, in Lawrence, MA, Donald grew up in Haverhill, MA and lived with his family in Salem, NH.

Donald is survived by his devoted wife, Christine Barnes; his son, Christopher Barnes and his wife, Kristin Young; and his daughter, Kimberly Barnes. He was predeceased by his beloved sister, Christine Gagne, his brother, Mark Barnes and his parents, Dorothy and Stanley Barnes. He also leaves behind several cherished nephews, his cousin, David Gallant and his favorite pups, Lily and Cooper.

A lifelong enthusiast of the Boston Celtics and anything related to cars, Donald's passions were a central part of his life. His spirit and joy were evident in his love for these interests, which he enjoyed sharing with those around him.

Donald will be remembered for his warm heart, support of his family, and the countless memories he created. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 17th from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St. Salem, NH 03079.
