Donald G. "Red" Norcross, Sr., 79, of Salem, NH died at his home surrounded by family on Monday, Oct. 5, 2020.

Red was born and educated in Millville, NJ. He served his country in the US Navy. He was a Regional Safety Coordinator with Covanta Energy until his retirement. Red enjoyed climbing Mt. Washington with his family, spending July 4 ^th on the Boston Esplanade, and sharing the fun of Shear Madness and Blue Man Group with his family and friends. He also participated in the Boston Walk for Hunger for many years.

Red will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of nearly 59 years, Mary (Galvin) Norcross of Salem, NH; his seven children, Donald Jr. of Salem, NH, David and wife Christine of Newton, NH, Mark and wife Marisol of Sanford, ME, John and wife Lorraine of Manchester, NH, Matthew and wife Stephanie of Salem, NH, Jeffrey and wife Heather of Derry, NH and Jennifer of Salem, NH; his two brothers, Frank and wife Connie and Wayne and wife Kathleen; nine grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, Olive (Dutton) and Frank Norcross, Jr, his daughter, Kathleen, his brother, Raymond and his daughter-in-law Vicky.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 8 ^th from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 9 ^th at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, 40 Main St., Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Masks are required and social distancing will be practiced.
