Obituary

Doris M. (Heavey) Chaplick, 71, of Salem, NH passed away at her home on Monday, February 22 nd .

Doris grew up in Mission Hill and Everett, MA and graduated from Everett High School. She worked at Converse for many years before transitioning into the healthcare field. Doris was a devoted parishioner at Mary Queen of Peace Church. She was a faithful Catholic and she enjoyed saying the rosary. Doris was a devoted Aunt and she loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Doris is survived by her siblings, Linda VanBuskirk and her husband John of Venice, FL and Arnold Heavey and partner Callie of Tewksbury, MA and also by many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Elva (Barnett) and William Heavey Sr., her husband, Thomas Dick and her brothers, William Heavey Jr., Kevin Heavey and Donald Heavey.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 4 th from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 5th at 10AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church, 200 Lawrence Rd. Salem, NH. Masks are required. Please arrive at the church by 9:45 AM.
