Dorothy "Dolly" (Bourdelais) Howarth Harrington, 87, a longtime resident of Salem, NH passed away at her home on Monday, December. 5 ^th .

She was born and educated in Salem, NH the daughter of the late Edna (Carr) and Roy Bourdelais. Dolly graduated as the valedictorian from Woodbury High School. She worked in the dietary department for the Sisters of Mercy at Warde Health Center for many years.

Dolly enjoyed cooking, gardening, spending time with her family and watching the Red Sox. She loved Christmas and watching the wildlife.  Dolly also had a love for music and is remembered for playing the piano.

She will be missed by her daughter, Kathy Pappathan and partner Michael Sorenson of Salem, NH; her 5 grandchildren, Matt and Jessica Pappathan, Cassandra O'Brien and John and Travis Howarth and her six great grandchildren; Ben, Josh, Will, Tom, June and Georgia.

Dolly was predeceased by her husband Edward Harrington, her son, John Howarth and her grandson, Jimmy Howarth.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 9 ^th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St. Salem, NH.

Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Salem, NH.
