Dorothy (Leriche) Hebert, 95, of Londonderry, NH passed away on March 24th at her home, surrounded by her loving children.
She grew up in Salem, NH and she graduated from Woodbury High School. Dorothy retired from the IRS where she was worked for 31 years. Before that, she worked at Western Electric for many years. Dorothy enjoyed knitting and crocheting, playing cards especially solitaire and cooking. Her life revolved around her family and she loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
Dorothy will be deeply missed by her 4 children, Armand Hebert Jr. of Flowery Branch, GA, Debra (Hebert) Mellen and husband Brian of New Durham, NH, Diane (Hebert) DeLuca and her husband John of Londonderry, NH, and Denise Hebert of Monroe, MI; her 4 grandchildren, Jessie Lynn Hood, Christopher Neal Hood, Shawn Michael Hood, Alexander Michael Hebert; her 8 great grandchildren, Drake Hood, Brandon Hood, Kathryne Strickland, Brady Watkins, Jayden Hood, Dillon Watkins, Matthew Hood and Thorin Hood and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Alice and Leo Leriche, her husband, Armand Hebert, Sr., her siblings, Arnold Leriche, Robert Leriche, Helen Conley, Barbara Chisholm and Russell Leriche and her grandson, Erick Paul Hebert.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St. Salem, NH. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 28, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church, 200 Lawrence Rd, Salem, NH. Please arrive by 11:15 AM. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Dorothy's name may be sent to MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
