Dorothy Ann Liberatore, 73, of Atkinson NH (formerly of Haverhill, MA) passed away at the Wingate Nursing Home in Haverhill MA.

Dottie was born on September 7, 1948, in Boston Massachusetts, to the late Edward J Malloy and Dorothy (Halloran) Malloy.

She is survived by her son Robert Liberatore Jr. and his wife Elizabeth (Boyle) of Atkinson New Hampshire, and their two children, Dottie's beloved grandchildren Ryan and Callen, who she loved so very much. Dottie was the second of eight siblings, which included her older brother Edward Malloy and his wife Ann of West Roxbury, her brother Kevin Malloy and his wife Linda of Chicopee, the late James Malloy and his wife Shelia of Norton, Kathy (Malloy) Wagner and her late husband Bobby, the late Brian Malloy, and her stepbrothers Sean Malloy and Matthew Malloy.

Dottie was a graduate of Jeremiah Burke High School in Dorchester, Massachusetts, Class of 1966. She went on to work for the telephone company, before taking a job at the Registry of Motor Vehicles, where she would stay for more than 30 years, retiring in March 2002. Over those years at the RMV, Dottie made some great friends who became like family, and although there are too many to mention here, there were two very special ones that she would want mentioned. The late Linda Hart, and the late Geraldine "Bonnie" Cuddyer were two of her very special friends for more than 25 years. I know that Dottie would also want to mention the Burnett family, especially the late Lorraine Burnett (Mrs. B), her son, William "Billy" Burnett and his husband Dave Befford of Chester, MA. The Burnett family has been a big part of Dottie's life for more than 40 years. They took trips together, visited each other as often as possible, and shared countless laughs and stories that speak to the special bond they shared.

As a son, writing this about his mom, it's extremely difficult, but I know she is in a better place, no longer in pain, and surrounded by the countless loved ones that have passed on before her. Before my mom's passing, I was able to thank her for all that she did for me during my life.
