Dorothy "Dot" M. Drouin, 76, of Salem, NH passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018 in the Salemhaven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Salem. She was born in Peabody, MA, a daughter of the late Michael and Harriet (Hadley) Hallinan.

Dot grew up in Peabody and followed in the footsteps of her Aunt Ellen; who was a nurse, and became a Nurse's Assistant. From her start at age 15 to her retiring when she was 55, she devoted 40 years of her life to helping others. She was kind and compassionate and was always there when anyone needed her. Dot enjoyed her trips to Foxwoods, playing Bingo, trips to Maine and solving word search puzzles. She loved her family deeply, wore her heart on her sleeve and was devoted to her family and helping others.

She is survived by her three children; Donald Leck of Salem, Janis Leck of Danville, NH and Kristine H. Wells and her husband Jeffrey Tucker of Derry, NH, by four grandchildren; Krystal Leck, Kenneth Turner, Michael Turner and Joshua Wells, three great-grandchildren; Natalie, Autumn and Nolan and by her brother Michael Hallinan and his wife Rosa of Peoria, AZ. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband; Edward Drouin and by her two sisters; Barbara Gauthier and Lucille Eliuck.
