Mrs. Dulcie B. Mersereau of Manchester, NH died Friday December 1, 2023 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua NH after a period of declining health.

She was born on February 24, 1933 in Templeman, Newfoundland Canada, the daughter of the late Clarence and Maude Melendy.

Retired from Hadco Corporation in Derry NH after 20+ years, she and her husband Ed retired to Daytona Beach FL., where they lived for 15 years before returning back to NH to be closer with family.

Dulcie's zest for fun, laughter, and good times will remain with those that knew her best.  Family and friends all loved her infectious smile. She enjoyed traveling to Newfoundland and Florida to visit family and friends.  She loved spending time with her 7 grandchildren whenever possible.  Additionally, she enjoyed playing cards with friends, going to the beach, lazing by the pool, playing the slots at the casinos, playing bingo, and much more.

Members of her family include 2 daughters, Debra (Mersereau) DeDeus of Lafayette, LA and her partner Thomas Wagner, and Cynthia (Mersereau) Scalzo and her husband Jeff Scalzo of Manchester, NH; 1 son, Thomas Mersereau and his wife Michelle Mersereau of Manchester, NH, 7 grandchildren; Lana and Joseph DeDeus, Jamie (Scalzo) Picard and Danny Scalzo, and Jonathan, Amanda, and Aaron Mersereau, and 4 great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sibling Clarence Melendy of Grand Bank, Newfoundland Canada.

A memorial service will be held at the NH Veterans Cemetery Chapel in Boscawen NH on Friday, December 15th, 2023 at 12:00pm. Donations in Dulcie's name may be made to the caring staff in the Cardiac Medical Unit at Catholic Medical Center, 100 McGregor Street, Manchester, NH 03102.
