Edith C. Bodell, 94, of Salem, NH passed away on Sunday, Nov. 15 ^th at Greystone at Salem.

She grew up in Lawrence, MA, the daughter of the late Caroline (Morton) and William Buckley. Edith graduated from Lawrence High School, Class of 1943 and McIntosh Business School. She was a member of the Andover Chapter #187 of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, Haverhill #1. Edith enjoyed stamp collecting, collecting ornaments and scrapbooking. She loved watching the Twilight Series and Days of Our Lives.

Edith will be sadly missed by her "adopted daughter", Ramona Stanley and husband Robert; her nieces Sara and Jean and their families; her dear friends, Robert Damphouse and wife Mel, Carolyn Mueller and daughter Lynne, Estelle O'Donnell and daughter Cathy, "Billie" Ciriello, Maryjean Aucoin and  Janet Brown.

She was predeceased by her husband, J. David Bodell.

Her family would like to thank the staff of Greystone and Compassus Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to Edith.

Services are private for her family. Arrangements are under the care of Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
