Edward L. Hill, 60, a longtime resident of Salem, NH passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019. He was born in Boston, MA, a son of the late Leonard E. and Alice V. (Whittemore) Hill.

Ed was educated in Boston. He worked for many years at the Mobil Gas Station on Rte. 133 in Andover, MA, and was also a self-employed landlord.

Ed is survived by his girlfriend, Patricia Abreu of Salem; his son, John E. Hill of Weymouth, MA; his daughter, Jennifar M. Hill of Bellevue, WA; a granddaughter, Antonina; his brother, Allen Hill and his wife Karen of Salem; his three sisters, Doris V. Blaney and her husband George of Pittsburgh, NH, Lois E. McGurn and her husband Joseph of Tyngsboro, MA, and Linda E. Hill of Derry, NH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Charles F. Hill.

Following cremation, visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem. A funeral service will follow Wednesday, at 7:00pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to The ALS Association, PO Box 37022, Boone, IA 50037-0022.
