Obituary

Edward A. Rowell, 58 of Salem, NH passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at his home.  He was born in Danvers, MA, a son of Herbert E. and Anna (Taylor) Rowell.

Mr. Rowell grew up in San Diego, CA and attended school in California.  He returned to New Hampshire in the 1980's.  Mr. Rowell was known in the construction/remodeling field as "Ed the Plasterer," having his own plastering business.  His favorite hobby was motocross and he was able to share his love of motocross with his son, Edward, creating a very close and special bond.  He was a great dad, and worked very hard during his life to provide for his son.  He made friends wherever he went, family and friends were very important to him, especially his son.

He is survived by his son and light of his life; Edward Logan Rowell of Salem, his parents; Herbert E. and Anna (Taylor) Rowell of Salem, his brothers; Scott Rowell and his wife Lisa Courduff of Carlsbad, CA and Glen Rowell and his wife Josephine of Wakefield, MA, his sister; Heather Chase and her husband Rick of Salem.  He is also survived by his nieces and nephews whom he adored; Taylor Rowell, Emma Rowell, Amanda Jones, Sarah Rowell, Jack Rowell, Anna Rowell, Meagan Pukhtiar, Justin Chase and Alec Chase.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Saturday, July 20, from 1-4pm at Jamison's Restaurant at 472 State Rte 111, Hampstead, NH. Eddie Jr. would like to invite anyone who knew and loved his dad to come for an afternoon of light food and refreshments, where memories of Ed and his life will be shared. Ed was casual and loved the simple life, therefore we would encourage you to come in casual attire and wear something colorful in his honor.
