Elizabeth A. "Betty" Hannon, 93, of Methuen, MA passed away on September 13th at Aspen Hill Rehab. & Nursing Center.

Betty grew up in Methuen, MA, the daughter of the late Rose (Goebel) and Philip Moan. She graduated from Edward F. Searles High School, Class of 1949. She was a homemaker and also worked as a bookkeeper for her husband's accounting business. She was a long-time resident of Salem, NH.  After retiring, Betty and John enjoyed wintering in Hudson, FL for 12 years and summering at Kinney Shores in Saco, ME.  Betty was a talented crafter who enjoyed sewing, knitting, watercolor and oil painting. She loved bowling and was in several leagues for 25 years. Betty loved the beach and collecting sea glass and doing puzzles.

She will be missed by her 3 sons, Patrick of Delray Beach, FL, Michael and wife Mary Ellen of Hampton, NH and John Jr. and wife Judy of Windham, NH; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, several nieces and a nephew.

Betty was predeceased by her husband, John Hannon, her twin sister, Barbara Shackleton, her sister Pauline Whalley and her brother Philip Moan.
