Eric J. Vogler, 61, of Salem, NH passed away on Friday, January 04, 2019 in the Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH.  He was born in Lawrence, MA, a son of the late Shirley A. (Proulx) Baillargeon and Fredric M Vogler.

Born in the bathroom of his family home in the early hours of New Years Day 1958, Eric Vogler was destined to live a special life. He was the fifth child of nine children, and he contributed loudly to the chaos that is natural in a family that size. To that end, it was where he became a master of sarcasm. He loved his family deeply and had a special bond with children. There wasn't a child in his sight who went unnoticed and so he showered them with attention. His love of people and life were shared with his Raytheon Andover coworkers for over 40 years and his work as a DJ where he got to share his love of music and dance. This exuberance for life also found its way onto the golf course where he adorned his finest knickers and argyle socks to play what he admitted was a less than average game.

He is survived by his siblings; Fredric Vogler, Jr., Dennis Vogler and his wife Michelle, Neal Vogler and his wife Lee, Sheryl Divoll and her wife Carol and Kimberly Beck and her husband Charles, and lifelong friends, John Bonin and his wife Karen. He was predeceased by his wife of 15 years; Carolyn (Bonin) Vogler in 2015 and by his brothers; Karl, Peter and Dwight Vogler.  Eric is also survived by Carolyn's son; Michael K. Hatch and his wife Doreen and their children; Michael Hatch and Cassandra Supernault and also by several nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 9 ^th at 11:00am in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Gift Processing, 1702 East Highland Ave., Suite 400, Phoenix, AZ 85016.
