Obituary

Evelyn "Lynn" (Trickett) Tabiatnejad passed away unexpectedly in her home on January 20, 2025, after a brief illness.  Lynn was born in Schwabisch Gmund, Germany on March 24, 1963, the daughter of Frederick and Constance (McAndrew) Trickett.  She was a long-time resident of Salem, NH, graduating from Salem High School in 1981 after attending St. Joseph's Regional Catholic School through her elementary and middle school years.

Lynn was a tireless worker who often held several jobs while putting herself through college at night.  After graduating with a degree in computer science from New Hampshire College, Lynn started her computer programming career working for several medical startup companies in Massachusetts before spending many successful years as a programming consultant at Fidelity Investments.

No matter how much professional success Lynn achieved, nothing compared to the lights of her life, her children Parisa and Bijan.  After her children arrived, Lynn put her professional career on hold to be a full-time mother, spending her time creating many adventures and gathering precious moments at every opportunity.

After her children entered school, Lynn embarked on an entirely new career, this time as an educator.  Lynn's passion for technology was second to none and she loved nothing more than sharing that passion with the many students and faculty she worked with over the years. Known affectionately as "Mrs. T"  by her students, Lynn worked as a combination IT administrator and teacher for several area schools including St. Joseph's Regional Catholic School in Salem, St. Thomas Catholic School in Derry, and most recently at World Academy in Nashua.

Lynn's passion was not confined to the classroom, extending into the coaching ranks as well.  Using her incredible knowledge and creative approach to instructing, Lynn guided several school teams to state championships in both Robotics and First Lego League competitions. Lynn's ability to spread her joy of learning, her natural curiosity and never being afraid to try new things was infectious.

Lynn had a love of travel that no doubt came from the moment she was born on a sidewalk in Germany as her parents served their country as part of the United States Army.   Lynn's travel took her to many places over the years as part of her trips with her children and sisters, including Europe, Turkey, Iceland and many, many spots throughout the United States.

Lynn was one of the most positive people you could ever hope to meet, always looking for the good in everything.  Her sharp mind brought with it a wicked sense of humor that would leave her family in stitches time and time again. Lynn's spirit always shined bright - she was loved by all who were fortunate enough to know her.  The memories of her light and spirit will always keep her close and are what will carry her loved ones through the tough times ahead.

In addition to her children Parisa and Bijan Tabiatnejad (and their father Mahmoud) of Salem, NH and her parents Fred and Connie Trickett of Celebration, FL, Lynn is survived by her brothers and sisters Lee Trickett (and Lisa Kilgore) of Londonderry, NH, Jack Trickett of Santa Monica, CA, Vicki Trickett of Brick, NJ, Lisa (and Mark) Stevens of Londonderry, NH, and Laura Trickett of Davenport, FL; her Aunt and Uncle Helen and Frank Hooper of Brewster, MA, her many beloved nieces and nephews, cousins and many, many friends and colleagues who will all miss her dearly.
