Obituary

Gail M. Daigle, 70 of Raymond, NH passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018 in the Brigham & Women's Hospital, Boston, MA. She was born in Malden, MA, a daughter of Marie (Foppiano) Chetwynde and the late Dominic Ferrera.

Mrs. Daigle was a resident of Raymond for the last 13 years, previously of Amesbury, MA. She graduated from Salem High School, Class of 1965. Her family meant the entire world to her. She was a deeply devoted wife, mother, daughter and grandmother, someone who you could say that her hobby was loving her family. She especially enjoyed spending time at her pool with her grandchildren. Mrs. Daigle was a wonderful cook and enjoyed baking, decorating her house for the holidays and making sure both the outside and inside of her home looked beautiful.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years; Tom Daigle of Raymond, her son; Todd Daigle and his wife Leslie of Epping, NH, her daughter; Tammy Rogers and her husband Kevin, also of Epping, her three grandchildren; Melissa Daigle, Zachary Rogers and Maggie Rogers, her mother; Marie Chetwynde of Salem, NH and by her sister; Linda D'Elia of New Jersey. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her fathers; Dominic Ferrera and Kenneth Chetwynde.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, April 6, 2018 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. A funeral service will follow Friday at 7:00pm in the funeral home. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
