Gail A. (Kelleher) Driscoll, 84, of Salem, NH passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022 in the High Pointe Hospice House, Haverhill, MA with her loving family by her side.  She was born in Haverhill, a daughter of the late Helen (Richardson) Kelleher.

Gail grew up and was educated in Methuen, MA where she was the captain of the girl's basketball team for Tenney High School and was also a majorette in high school.  She married and raised a family and later in life went back to school, graduating from the University of Lowell in 1979 with a degree in Nursing.  Gail worked as a registered nurse for Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, served as a visiting nurse and later was the school nurse at Woodbury School in Salem, NH.  Family was so very important to her and she loved watching her grandchildren's sporting events.  Gail was a diehard New England sports fan; she loved the beach, especially York Beach in Maine and was known to be pretty good on a boogie board.    She was also known to proudly be able to stand her ground.

She is survived by her husband; Bob Gookin of Salem, her four children; Michael Driscoll and his wife Christine of Plano, TX, Thomas Driscoll and his wife Linda of Marlborough, MA, Patricia Driscoll and her partner Stephanie of Peoria, IL and Kerry Clegg and her husband Scott of Londonderry, NH.  She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; Steven, Chelsea, Michelle, Lauren, Thomas, Sarah, Sean, Ryan, Owen, Colin and Keegan.  She was predeceased by her first husband; Thomas Driscoll in 1990 and by her brother; Richard Kelleher.

Visiting hours will be held Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, October 31 ^st at 10:30am in Mary Queen of Peace Church, 200 Lawrence Rd., Salem where she was a longtime member.  Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, 329 Main St., Salem.
