Gale E. (Lewis) Smith, 79, of Salem, NH passed away Friday, Jan. 10 ^th at Pleasant Valley Nursing Center.

Gale was born and educated in Salem, NH and graduated from Woodbury High School. She was a nurse's aid at Lawrence General Hospital and she had worked at Mann's Orchard in Methuen. Gale enjoyed summering at Terrace Pines in Center Ossipee for over 50 years. She enjoyed photography.

Gale is survived by her husband, Craig Smith of Salem and her nephews, Jamie and Danny Grant. She was predeceased by her parents, Natalie (Haigh) and Daniel Lewis and her sister, Faith Grant.

Visitation is Wednesday, January 15 ^th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM. Burial is in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
