Genevieve A. (Wlodyka) Svoboda, 91, Salem, NH died peacefully Wednesday, March 27 ^th at her home.

She was born and educated in Lawrence, MA, the daughter of the late Katherine (Bryda) and Stanislaw Wlodyka. Genevieve graduated from Lawrence High School, Class of 1946. She worked in sales at W. T. Grants and in electronic assembly at MFE.

She was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem and the Julian Stopyra Ladies Auxiliary Post in Lawrence. Genevieve was active in the Cub Scouts and was a Den Mother. She enjoyed bowling, Polka bands, bird watching and she was a talented seamstress. Genevieve was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed helping others and she would do anything for anybody. She loved animals.

Genevieve is survived by her sons, Paul Svoboda and wife Elaine of Candia, NH and David Svoboda of Salem, NH; her 6 grandchildren; her 13 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years, Paul B. Svoboda and her siblings, Emil Wlodyka and Jean Stott.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 2 ^nd from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
