Obituary

Geoffrey "Jeff" G. Foss, 75, of Salem, NH passed away peacefully at home on March 31 2025, after a long illness.  His loving family supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.

Jeff was born on April 2, 1949 in Wakefield, MA to the late Lawrence and Barbara Foss. He is a graduate of Stoneham High School. Jeff served his country in the US Air Force Reserves during the Vietnam War.

Jeff was blessed with a large and loving family. He married his best friend, Maria "Linda" Connors, on August 11, 1973 in Lawrence, MA. They remained best friends, deeply in love and eternally devoted until his last moment. The bulk of Jeff's professional career was spent as a master plumber at Apollo Plumbing and Heating in Lawrence, MA.

His warmth and helpfulness radiated and made him the first call for friends and family in need.  Together with his wife, Jeff built a network of loving friends and family all of whom will miss his humor, kindness and willingness to lend a hand. Jeff and Linda loved to travel together with friends!  Together they traveled the Caribbean, Mexico, Florida and a dream trip up the California coast.

Jeff is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Linda Foss; his 3 children, Kevin and his wife Jane Foss of Hampstead, NH, Lauren and her husband Christopher Adrien of Hampstead, NH and Geoffrey C. and his wife Julie Foss of Amesbury, MA and several nieces and nephews. The joy of Jeff's life was his role as "Papa" to his five grandchildren; Daniel and Edward Foss & Emma, Jacob and Leah Adrien.
