George W. Stanley, Jr., 16, of Hudson, NH passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019 at his home. He was born in Nashua, NH, a son of George W. Stanley, Sr. and Peggy A. Stanley.

George loved being around people, and everybody who met him absolutely loved him. He was well loved and well cared for and looked after. George loved TV time and book time. He was happy and smiling and everyone is going to miss his "cookie face."

He is survived by his parents; George W. Stanley Sr. and Peggy A. Stanley of Hudson, his sister; Barbara Jean Stanley of Seabrook, NH, a brother; Andrew Stanley of Manchester, NH, his twin brother; Cooper C. Stanley of Hudson, his grandfather; James Stanley of Fitchburg, his grandmother; Michelle Anderson of Fitchburg and grandmother; Shirley Stanley of Attleboro, MA. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles; Shane Stanley, Joseph Stanley and James Stanley, all of Allentown, PA, William Stanley, Vikki Stanley of Attleboro, Michelle Stanley, Betsey Stanley of Salem, NH, Sophie Stanley of Manchester, NH, Lydia Stanley of Wilton, NH and Cornelius Stanley, Jr. of Hudson. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents; Cornelius and Barbara Stanley and by two uncles, William and Joseph Stanley.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm and again Friday from 4:00pm to 9:00pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:00am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Derry, NH.
