Ghislaine (Croteau) Soucy, 78, of Salem, NH passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 13 ^th at Lawrence General Hospital after a valiant battle against cancer.

She was born and educated in Quebec, Canada. Ghislaine retired from Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA where she worked for 30 years. She was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem, NH. Ghislaine enjoyed wintering in Florida and she loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She was looking forward to the birth of her first great granddaughter.

Ghislaine will be sadly missed by her beloved husband of 49 years, Raymond Soucy of Salem, NH; her two daughters, Lisa Taylor and husband Shawn and Brenda Cloutier and husband Mathieu, all of Salem, NH; her 5 grandchildren, Keirston Griffin and husband Chris, Jeremy Arzuaga, Kasandra Taylor, Mathieu Cloutier and Alyssa Cloutier; many siblings and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be private for the family. Arrangements are under the care of Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
