Grace "Dolly"(LaSpina)  Karl, 88, of Salem, NH passed away suddenly at Holy Family Hospital after a brief illness on December 28, 2023.

She was born and educated in Lawrence, MA the daughter of the late Ruth (Fredrickson) and Alfred LaSpina. Dolly graduated from Lawrence High School. Dolly enjoyed trips to Foxwoods and Las Vegas with her brother, playing cards and watching the waves at the beach. She took pride in her appearance and always wanted to look her best. She enjoyed having her hair done. Dolly enjoyed going out to eat with her family and friends and cherished family time together. She loved spending time with her great granddaughter.

Dolly will be deeply missed by her son, Gary Karl and his wife Lise Brisson of Salem, NH; her 2 grandchildren, Deric Sullivan and Kimberly Karl; her great granddaughter, Mila Johnson and her 3 nieces Sharon Schaffer, Cindy (LaSpina) Manning and Sue (LaSpina) Krzesinski.

She was predeceased by her husband Heinz Karl, her son Eric Karl and her brother Alfred LaSpina, Jr.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 4th from 3:00 – 5:00 PM followed by a service at 5:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Dolly's name may be made to St. Joseph Food Pantry.
