Guy E. Arsenault, 69, of Salem, NH passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at his home. He was born in Newport, VT, the son of the late Mary Lou (Couture) Coulombe and Lionel Arsenault.
Guy worked for a number of years for The Phillips Academy in Andover, MA in the Maintenance Department. He was a train hobbyist, an antique collector and loved his cars and animals. Guy was an all around family guy who deeply loved his family and spending time with them. He was always there to help when needed. He also appreciated his alone quiet time during his walks in the woods and the time he spent being in nature.
He is survived by his son; Ryan Arsenault of Lawrence, MA, by his four sisters; Monica Becotte and Claudette Cote, both of Ocala, FL, Claire Tavares and her companion Bruce Weymouth of Melbourne Beach, FL and Gisele Scrofano and her companion Donald Cheney of Methuen, MA, by his former spouse, Dawn Arsenault of Manchester, NH and also by several nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, visiting hours will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
