Helen Rita (Boucher) Busta, 92, passed peacefully on September 18, 2022 after a long journey with dementia. She was born in 1929 in Newburyport, MA and spent most of her life in Salem, NH and Atkinson, NH. She was an accomplished cook and baker and loved bringing home a stack of books from the library to read each week. She took great pride in raising her two boys, and later caring for her whole extended family. Helen was warm, generous, and a friend to everyone she met.

Helen graduated from Newburyport High School and later from Lynn Burdett College in Lynn, MA studying business.  She went on to work as a manager and buyer for Delahunty Nurseries in Windham, NH for 17 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund and Cecilia Boucher, brothers Bob Boucher and Bill Boucher, lifelong friend Ida Perotta, and numerous other friends and relatives. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years Raymond Busta, her precious sons Paul Busta and Rick Busta, cherished daughters-in-law Kimberly (Webb) Busta and Lori (Cote) Busta, and her beloved granddaughter Megan (Busta) Hicks.

A Celebration of Life service will be held for the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen's name to the Manchester VA Medical Center, 718 Smyth Rd, Manchester, NH 03104.
