Henry R. "Bob" Agnew, 84, of Salem, NH passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022 in the Nevins Nursing Center in Methuen, MA.  He was born in Methuen, a son of the late Harry J. and Winifred (Clarke) Agnew.

Bob grew up in Methuen and graduated from Tenney High School.  He proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army and in the Army reserves.  Bob later went to work for the Department of the Army as an environmental inspector.  He was a member of the National Rifle Association.  Bob enjoyed doing home projects and he enjoyed working on cars.  He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid Patriots and Celtics fan.

He is survived by three sons; Donald Agnew and his wife Brenda of Haverhill, MA and Jeff Agnew and his wife Marie Vitale of Bedford, NH and Daniel W. Agnew of Methuen, by his daughter; Lori Gatti and her husband John of Plaistow, NH and by six grandchildren; Aimee, Amanda, Jeff, Jason, Mike and Kim.  He is also survived by a brother; Ronald Agnew of Rome, ME and a sister; Elaine Dowd.  He was predeceased by his wife Mary (Athayde) Agnew and by his brother; William Agnew.
